美国教师节可不只一天，而是一个持续一周的活动。早早班里的班委会（有这么个组织吗？我不太清楚，反正就是突然有个我不认识的人给我发了一封邮件）家长就给家长们发了邮件通知大家做准备，内容如下：

Staff appreciation week is coming up and we've put together an outline for the week to celebrate our incredible staff at Clyde Hill Elementary!
Monday 5/6
We will have the staff lounge decorated to welcome staff and kick off the week.

Tuesday 5/7
A latte cart will be set up in the staff lounge to provide coffee to all staff members.

Wednesday 5/8
Parents - Please help fill the staff lounge with desserts. We need volunteers to bring desserts to the staff lounge by 10am. Dessert bar will be set up for staff to enjoy.
Thursday 5/9
Parents – Our class will present Mrs. T with a gift basket filled with goodies and gift cards using classroom funds. The gift of gratitude is the best gift so please encourage your student to write a card/drawing/poem for Mrs. T. Kylee will be there mid-morning on Thursday to collect cards and present gift basket to Mrs. T.
Your family is welcome to bring in your own gift for Mrs. T any day next week. Attached are some of her favorite things. ($25 limit on gifts to teachers per student)
Do no forget about our specialists! We are lucky to have so many wonderful Instructional Aides, Office Staff, Music / Art / PE Teachers and Bus Drivers!

然后还附了这么一个表，我当时根本就没当一会事儿，也不知道这里写的都是和班主任老师Ms. T有关的内容。
因为以前除了班主任，从来没有收到过任何来自班级其它人的邮件，我以为是封垃圾邮件，根本就没理。结果后果严重了，我们所有的活动都缺席了。
直到邻居小朋友要给老师画感恩卡片，让聪宝帮着一起画，我才知道原来这一周是老师节，要给老师送吃的、要画谢师卡、要准备小礼物或小点心，而且不是一天，而是一周时间，我的妈啊，太复杂了。

本来应该是周四送给老师的，结果小迷糊居然没送出去，最后周五亲手送给老师，当天晚上老师就写了封热情洋溢的感谢信给我们，真是一个知道感恩的老师。
后面又收到老师一封信，周五老师要请小朋友们一个Ice Cream Party，就在17号，请小朋友们准备topping，我个人觉的是老师对家长们礼物的回馈，不知道这么想是不是太狭隘了。
小朋友有老师请Ice Cream Party，我只能自己给自己找福利了。这是Wendys'的促销，小杯奶昔$0.5/杯，真是太便宜了，简直就是白给的。我最近只要觉的天热就去吃一杯，犒劳自己一下。在美国基本就没见过1美元以下的东西，这0.5元的奶昔，加上税也不过才0.55元/杯，比中国都便宜好多，必须经常买来吃吃，满足一下自己，每次吃的时候都觉的很陶醉。（唉！真是穷人啊！吃点便宜奶昔就美成这样了）
